Try cutting back on caffeinated beverages and avoid eating too close to your bedtime. Get enough exercise during the day and avoid napping since that will negatively impact your ability to sleep through the night. Limiting your screen time might help you to get to sleep easier, too. 

Stop using your laptop, smartphone, and other devices at least two hours before you need to go to bed. It might take some time to make the necessary adjustments, but you can get on a better sleep schedule. Just do your best to stick to a schedule and avoid staying up too late because that can throw everything off.
